Yoga for General Health

Health is priceless. Today, people practice Yoga to maintain the mind-body balance. The root of all diseases is the mind. It is due to undesirable thought patterns and an unbalanced lifestyle that causes blockages that prevent the flow of prana (life force) in the subtle body. This results in the manifestation of diseases.

Through practising Yogasanas, one is trained to observe the breath whilst controlling bodily functions. When the breath is observed, the mind is silenced and therefore, allows the subtle energy within the body to flow correctly. Because of this, Yoga provides relief at the spiritual, emotional and physical levels. Yoga practice strengthens the body and creates a feeling of well-being.

Why enrol for the "Yoga for General Health" course?
The "Yoga for General Health" Course organised by Sandhya Maarga is unique as instructors will focus on Yogasanas that will best boost the different systems of the body / body parts (e.g. circulatory system, respiratory system, skeletal & muscles etc.) each week.

Who can join this course?
Any person of all ages except children below the age of 10 (for children interested to enrol in a course with us, please refer to Yoga for Kidz).

**All Yoga courses at Sandhya Maarga Holistic Living Academy follow the 'term' system. For most of our courses, the course term lasts for approximately 3 months (12 weeks).
